Skill Sets Required for Different Subjects while
preparing for IIT JEE
Preparing for IIT is a challenge unto itself. The questions contains several concepts within itself which must be decoded while finding solution.
Students must have “speed with accuracy” candidate In Mathematics, computational skill is the
most important and in order to avoid errors committed due to carelessness, the candidates
must re-check answers before writing it finally as there is negative marking
for every wrong answer.
The candidates must simplify the calculations bust most
avoid jumping steps because it can lead to faulty calculations and wrong
answers. In Physics, several
concepts are mixed together and the need while answering this part of the paper
is to rely on classroom knowledge and perfection of the fundamentals of the
subject. If the basics are well known to the candidates, there is little chance
of them falling prey to wrong computation. Similarly, In Chemistry, the need is to understand what concept have been
employed while fixing the questions. Once that is deciphered, the rest is not
difficult. Often the students commit mistake while understanding the question and
the concepts which have helped assemble the question. The skill set required
here is maturity and understanding the requirement of the subject.
The candidates must have through knowledge of the
subject as they are tested twice for the same subjects. They must have aptitude
for Science and love for solving problems. They must have high power of
concentration because they require to work with absolute perfection in order to
arrive at the correct answer.
