Desirable Qualification		Note: The incumbents selected will be provided 6 months training (2 months at Kolkata Training Centre, one month on Board Lighthouse tender Vessel and 3 months on the job training at VTS, Master control Centre, Kandla) at the cost of the Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships. Selected candidates have to execute a bond to serve with the Directorate at least for a period of 3 years after successful completion of training or the expenditure involved in training shall be paid by them. During the period of training the incumbents will be paid stipend equivalent to pay in the pay band and grade pay. The period of training will count towards qualifying service for pension and for grant of increment as per rules.
