University of Delhi issued a recruitment notification for the Posts of junior
Assistant, Junior Library & Info. Assistant/Library Assistant & M.T.S. –
Laboratory. Eligible candidates who fulfil all eligibility criteria can apply
on prescribed format of application obtained from the College Office on cash
payment of Rs. 250/- for General/OBC category and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST category.

1. Name of the Post : Junior
Assistant
- Total No. of Posts : 4 Posts ( UR – 02, OBC – 2)
- Pay Scale : 5200-20200 + 1900 (Grade Pay)
- Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University with at least 50% mark s or Graduation degree from a recognized university, and Diploma/Certificate of minimum 6 months duration in Computer Application/office management/secretarial practice/financial management/accounts or equivalent discipline. And must have a typing speed of 40 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
- Age Limit : Candidates age should not be more than 27 years.
2. Name of the Post : Junior Library &
Info. Assistant / Library Assistant
- Total No. of Posts : 01 Post (General/UR)
- Pay Scale : 5200-20200 + 2000 (Grade Pay)
- Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University and Certificate in Library Science/Library and information science from a recognized institution. And computer course at Sr. Secondary Level or Basic course in computer science/word processing from a recognized institution.
- Age Limit : Candidates age should not be more than 30 years.
3. Name of the Post : M.T.S. -Laboratory
- Total No. of Posts : 08 Posts (UR – 08, OBC – 03, SC - 01)
- Pay Scale : 5200-20200 + 2000 (Grade Pay)
- Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed 10th/Matriculation or its equivalent with science from a recognized Board/University and Certificate in Library Science/Library and information science from a recognized institution.
- Age Limit : Candidates age should not be more than 27 years.
Last Date of sending application form : 13.04.2015
Note : Application forms can be
obtained from the College Office on cash payment of Rs. 250/- for General/OBC
category and Rs. 100/- for SC/St category (No fee for PwD) on any working day
between 10.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m. or can be downloaded from the official website
of the DU (Candidates who download application form from the official website of
the University can submit their application fees in the form of Demand Draft in
favour of “Principal, Maitreyi College” payable
at New Delhi.)
