Municipal Corporation of Delhi notified a recruitment notification
for 800 Posts of Primary Teacher. Eligible candidates who fulfill all
eligibility criteria can apply online form the official website of MCD. Full

Full Vacancy Details : -
- Name of the Post : - Primary Teacher
- Total No. of Post : 800 Posts (General : 404 Posts, SC : 120 Posts, ST : 60 Posts & OBC : 216 Posts)
- Educational Qualification :
• Candidates should pass Sr. Secondary or intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution.• Must have passed English as a subject at Secondary or Senior Secondary level & Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level• Two year’s diploma / Certificate course in Elementary Teacher Education Course / Junior Basic Training or equivalent or Bachelor of Elementary Education from a recognized institution•Must have qualified in paper 1 of CTET conducted by CBSE for class I to V ( relaxation of 5% marks to SC/ST/OBC/PH category Candidates)
- Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 18 – 30 Years (for General), 18 – 35 (for SC, ST), 18 – 33 Years (for OBC) & 18 – 40 Years for Other Candiadates.
- Salary : Fixed monthly Allowance
- Selection Process : Candidates will be selected on the basis of Academics marks of Secondary, Sr. Secondary & D.Ed.

Teacher Training : 30 %

(a) Marks will be calculated upto 2 decimal point and convention of decimal fractions will be used and in case of tie decimal fractions can be taken to any extent to decide the merit and seniority.(b )The Marks of best five subjects including Hindi in case of Secondary Examination passed out from the same Board of examination will be considered for deriving the merit.(c) The Marks of best five subjects in Senior Secondary Examination passed out from the same Board of examination will be considered for deriving the merit. English as subject at Secondary or Senior Secondary level will be included among best five subjects either at Secondary level or Senior Secondary level as per choice of candidate. The marks of additional subject will also be considered for driving the merit but the Board of Examination for best five subjects should be the same.
