IB Recruitment for 42 Posts of Personal Assistant and 32 Posts of Junior Intelligence Officer | Recruitment 2014

IB (Intelligence Bureau) issued a notification for the recruitment of 42 Posts of Personal Assistant and 32 Posts of Junior Intelligence Officer. Eligible candidates who fulfill all eligibility criteria can apply online form the official website of the IB. Full vacancy details are given below: -

1. Name of the Post : - Personal Assistant

• Total No. of Posts : - 42 (UR – 13, OBC – 08, SC – 13, ST – 08)

• Educational Qualification : - 10 + 2 or equivalent with proficiency in stenography

                Dictation : 10 minutes @ 100 words per minute.

                Skill  test on computer-transcription of shorthand, 40 minutes (English) and 55 minutes (Hindi)

• Desirable: Knowledge of Computer operation viz. Windows 2000/2003, MS Word, etc

• Pay Scale : - Rs. 9300-34800/- and grade pay of Rs. 4600/-

• Age Limit : - Candidates age should be 18 to 27 years as on the closing date i.e. June 02, 2014

2. Name of the Post : - Junior Intelligence Officer Grade – II/Tech

• Total No. of Post: - 32 (UR – 32, OBC – 07, SC – 05, ST – 02)

• Educational Qualification : - Matriculation with two years ITI (Industrial Training Institute) passed certificate in Radio Technician or Communication or Electronics or Electrical.

• Pay Scale : - 5200-20200/- and G.P. of Rs. 2400/-

• Age Limit : - Candidates age should be between 18 to 27 as on the closing date i.e. June 02, 2014

Application Fees : - Rs. 50 for General & OBC candidates (Male). Women candidates and candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process : - Selection of candidates should be based on the performance of the candidates in written test, stenographic test/skill test cum interview, they will be selected subject to successful completion of their character and antecedent verification and thereafter medical examination.

ii) Online registration will become operational from the date of publication of advertisement, i.e. May 03, 2014 till 23.59 hours of the closing date i.e. June 02, 2014.

iii) The format of online application form is divided into two parts viz. Part – I relates to the payment modes. The candidate will have to fill up the Part-I of online application, upload their photograph and signature and then select option for payment of fees, if any, in Part II of the application form.
