Goa board of education was established to inculcate high quality of secondary as well as higher secondary education to the school students in Goa. The education board mainly focuses on increasing the academic, intellectual and physical talent as well as the skills. Apart from conducting examinations, the educational board declares results, provides curriculum or syllabus, grants certificates and also prescribes admission to the students for both private and government affiliated institutions. The board also offers scholarships to its students and organizes scholarship programs for them to enable the candidates to perform better.
