Online applications are invited in the prescribed Performa through website www. hprbonline.com or www.hprbonline.in fromeligible candidates forthe post of male&female constable reserved for sportspersons. The applications will be filled up to 25.02.2014 till 5:00PM after which the link will be disabled. The candidates are advised to apply online well intime without waiting for last date of submission of online application. No offline application form or copy of downloaded application form will be accepted by this office. The printout of online application form and e‐challan filled by the candidates will be brought along withoriginal certificatesfor verification at the time of physical measurement and physical efficiency
test.

- Pay Scale:- Rs. 5200-20200 plus GP of Rs. 2000/-.
- Application fees:- (i) The male candidates are required to pay online fees of Rs. 100/- & female candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/- .The fees once paid is non-refundable/ non transferable.
- Eligibility:- “Nationality, domicile and character of the candidates.
i) No person shall be appointed to the post of constable in Haryana Police, unless
he is-
(a) a citizen of India; or
(b) a subject of Nepal; or
(c) a subject of Bhutan; or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January , 1962, with the
intention of permanently settling in India ; or
(e) a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Shri Lanks or any
of the East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania
( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zabia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethopia with the
intention of permanently settling in India:
Provided that a person belonging to any of the categories (b), (c) (d) or (e) shall be person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt.”
Character Certificate The candidates are required to produce a certificate of
character from the Principal Academic Officer of the University, College, School
or Institution last attended.
- Educational Qualifications : -
(a) 10+2 for all categories.
(b) The candidate, who have secured position in National School Games, National Level Tournaments organized by recognized National federations or who have obtained 1st and 2nd position in State Level Tournaments organized by the State and / or by State Federation Association recognized by the State will be put through Physical Efficiency Test under the existing recruitment rules. The sporting skills of candidates, who clear the physical efficiency test will be tested through the trial games/ competitions. Those who are found upto the desired standard will be permitted to appear in interview. In case, sportspersons of required standard are not available such seats shall not be filled up.
- Age limit :-
a) Lower 18 years
b)Upper 21 years. (date on which the age is to be determined is 1st Jan 2014)
- Physical Standard: -
1. For Male Constables:-
(a) Height-Minimum 5’-7”
(b) Chest-Un-expanded – Minimum 33”
Expanded - Minimum 34 ½ (Minimum expansion of one and half inch)
2. For Female Constables:-
Height- Minimum 5’-2” (Note –1. Suitable relaxation in height and in chest may be granted by the Director General of Police, Haryana for recruitment of outstanding sportspersons after recording reasons in writing.
Note - 2. Age limit extendable by two (2) years by Director General of Police,Haryana in special cases on merit and recommendation of the Board. )
- Reservation: - The benefit of reservation will be given to those candidates who are domicile of Haryana State, therefore, the candidates are required to submit copy of valid domicile certificate issued by the competent authority. Therefore, the domicile of the other state are not eligible.
- Selection Procedure:- The details regarding selection procedure have been explained in Annexure “A” to this advertisement.
- How to Apply :-
i) The candidates should visit website www.hprbonline.com or www.hprbonline.in After applying online a registration No. of candidate and ID No. will be generated.
ii) Take printout of registration No. and ID No. for future reference of application and for reprinting of online filled application form and e-challan form.
iii) The candidate should deposit fee in any branch of State Bank of Patiala after 48 hours of filling online application and e-challan generation and within the date as indicated in the Bank e-challan.

- Last Date for submission of Online Application : 25.02.2014
General:-
(i) A candidate against whom a criminal case stands registered and is under investigation or pending trial or who has been convicted by a Court of law need
not apply.
(ii) Candidates will have to appear for selection at their own expenses. They shouldalso make their own arrangement for stay during the selection.
(iii) Candidate shall be appearing forthe PET at their own risk. The Govt.shall not beresponsible for any loss or injury caused during the test.
(iv) The Haryana Police Recruitment Boards has full right to make changes andconstitute additional District Level Police Recruitment Committees for PhysicalMeasurement and Physical Efficiency Test or cancel or postpone the recruitmenton administrative grounds orin the public interest.
(v) Candidates canvassing in any form will be disqualified from appearing in the testorforfinalselection.
