CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) has
issued notification for fill up Reserved/ Backlog/ Current 271 posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno) in CRPF. Eligible candidates who fulfill all eligibility criteria may send their applications on or before 22.02.2014.

Name of the Post: Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno)
Age Limit:18 - 25 years as on 22.02.2014. Relaxation is as per Government rules.
Educational Qualification : 10 + 2 (Intermediate) or equivalent examination
from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government with Dictation-10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription time- 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay the a Crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft for Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) to be drawn in favour of the DIGP, GC, CRPF of concerned application receiving centre. SC/ST candidates, all female candidates and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Scrutiny/ checking of certificates/ documents, Physical Measurement, Written examination and Skill test ( i.e. Stenography/ short hand test), Interview and Medical examination.
How to Apply: Candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format of application along with attested photocopies of certificate/testimonials as
proof of educational qualification and date of birth, for recent passport size self attested photographs, caste certificate, application fee, etc., enclosed in an envelope
