HPSC (Haryana Public Service Commission) Recruitment for various Posts

Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess Degree of a recognized University of Bachelor of Arts/Science/Commerce or an equivalent degree of a recognized University as on 18.03.2014
Age Limit: 21-40 Years as on 01.01.2014 (Upper age relaxation is applicable as per notification)
Application Fee:
  • Rs. 1000/- For  Male candidates  of General  category  including Dependent  Son  of Ex-Servicemen of Haryana. & For  Male  candidates  of  General and all  reserved  categories  of  other  States.
  • Rs. 250/- For  all  Female  candidates  of  General  category  including  Female Dependent of ESM of Haryana only & For Female candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States.
  • Rs. 250/- For Male & Female candidates of SC / BC / SBC / EBP(GC) / ESM categories of Haryana only.
  • No Fee For  all  Physically  Handicapped  candidates  (with  at  least  40%  disability) categories of Haryana only.
Scheme of Examination : The  examination  will  be  Combined  Competitive  Examination (CCE) comprising of the following stages;
(i)  Preliminary Examination (Objective Type / Multiple choice) for screening only
(ii)  Main Examination (Conventional / Essay Type)
(iii)  Personality Test (Viva-voce)
Note 1: Candidates fifteen times the number of advertised posts including bracketed candidates, if  any, in  their  respective  categories in  order  of  merit  of  the  Preliminary  Examination will be admitted to the Main Examination.     
Note 2: The  question  paper  will  be  got  printed  bilingual  i.e.  Hindi  (being  regional  language)  & English except language papers.
Note 3: Candidates  who  qualify  for  the  Main  Examination  will  have  to  apply  again for  which they will be informed separately. 
Note 4: Candidates thrice the number of advertised posts including bracketed candidates, if any, in  their  respective  categories in  order  of  merit  of  Main  Examination  will  be  called  for Personality Test (Viva-voce).
How to Apply:  The  online  application  can  be  filled  upto  05.00  PM  on 18.03.2014 after  which  the  link will be disabled. The candidates are strictly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for  last  date.  No  offline  application  form  will  be  accepted  by  the  office. Candidates  are again advised not  to  send  hard  copy  of  their  online  application  form  or  any  other  document  to  the Commission. If any candidate will send hard copy of his / her online application form, the same will  not  be  entertained  by  the  Commission.  However, they  can  retain  the  hard  copy  of  their application form for their record.
Further it is again made clear that no request regarding any change in any entry in the online application form will be entertained by the Commission, so the candidates are advised to read  the  instructions  carefully  before  applying  online.  Incomplete and  without  prescribed  fee online application form will be rejected straight way and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard by the Commission.
The eligibility of candidates with regards to qualifications will be determined on the last date of submission of online application forms and age will be reckoned on 01.01.2014.
Important Dates:
  • Starting Date of Online Application : 20.02.2014
  • Closing date for the submission of online applications :       18.03.2014 
  • Closing date for deposit of fee in all branches of State Bank of Patiala :  20.03.2014
Important Instructions:
  • Candidates  are  advised  take  print  out  of Application Form  & Fee Challan  and please deposit the fee in any branch of State Bank of Patiala after 48 hours of filling online Application and Challan generation before 20.02.2014. 
  • Candidates are not required to send hard copy of their online application form or any other  document  to  the Commission. If  any  candidate  will  send  hard  copy  of  his  /  her  online application  form,  the  same  will  not  be  entertained  by  the  Commission.  However, they  can retain the hard copy of their online application form for their record.
